About the Ride:Well Tour

The Ride:Well Tour is an epic bicycling expedition from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. to raise funds and awareness for Blood:Water Mission's 1000 Wells Project.

 

Join us for a City Ride | Register Now! The cross-country team will stop to join local riders in select cities to provide a more accessible opportunity for Blood:Water Mission advocates to raise funds and awareness for the 1000 Wells Project. Please join us in one of the following cities:


o    Dallas, TX (June 28, 2008)
o    Nashville, TN (July 12, 2008)
o    Washington D.C. (July 26, 2008)

The team is eating lunch in Orange, VA and will be staying at Mannassas Assembly of God tonight. Two days of cycling left until they reach the coast!

The team just arrived at First Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN. Tomorrow the team will be leaving TN.

Today the team arrives in Knoxville at Central Baptist Beardon. They will be presenting about the tour this evening.

The team arrives at the Blood:Water Mission office today in Nashville at 12:00. You can welcome them as they roll into town at 3 McFerrin Ave., Nashville, TN.

The team is in Dickson, TN, 40 miles from Nashville. Please join the team on Saturday for the Nashville City Ride. Meet at Rocketown at 8:15 a.m. Registration is available on-site.

Today the team will cross over into Tennessee and head north toward Memphis. They will be arriving in Millington, TN this evenin and staying with our friends at Habitat for Hope.

The team is cycling 100 miles to West Helena, AR from Pine Bluff, AR today. They enjoyed a great time off in Little Rock, AR at Second Baptist Church.

The team bicycled through Louisiana yesterday and currently making its way toward Camden, AR. Last night they had an opportunity to visit Matt Williams' dad in the hospital. Matt left the team during the second week when he found out that his dad had Leukemia. Matt suprised the team today and informed them that he will be bicyling to Nashville. Please continue to pray for healing for Matt's dad.

TYLER, TX raised $73,500 for Blood:Water Mission at the Blood:Water Concert. Sara Groves played and Donald MIller spoke to the community that rallied together to bring clean blood and clean water to Afrcia. Thank you Tyler, TX and all the churches and sponsors that made this possible. More details to follow... Check out the team blog to learn more. The team is on its way to Jefferson, TX today. The route to day is roughly 90 miles.
